How To Set Up The Chatbot On My Website?

Meta deprecated the Customer Chat feature in 2024 causing this feature to be no longer available. However, Clepher found a resolution, instead of embedding a chatbot directly on your website, you can use the http://M.ME link, which will appear as a familiar Messenger icon. When visitors click on it, they will be redirected to Messenger, allowing you to engage with them seamlessly.

How to Set It Up:

  1. Generate your http://M.ME Link

    • Log in to your Clepher dashboard.

    • Go to Settings > Configure and find your http://M.ME link, or

    • Copy the link to use on your website.

  2. Add the Messenger Icon to Your Website

    • Go to your website’s HTML and place it where you want users to be able to click to start a Messenger conversation.

  3. Test the Setup

    • Click the Messenger icon on your website to ensure it redirects correctly.

    • Make adjustments if needed for better visibility and user experience.

Coming Soon: Clepher’s Native Chat Widget

We’re excited to share that we’re already working on our own native chat widget, which will be included in Version 2.0, set to launch later this year! This will allow you to have a fully integrated chatbot on your website without relying on Messenger redirections. We’ll share more details as we get closer to release!

For now, the http://M.ME link is the best way to keep engaging with your visitors. If you need any help setting this up, feel free to reach out to Clepher Support!
