Custom Roles

Custom Role is a feature that allows you to customize the role of your desired member. This gives you 100% control over what your Team Members can do.

Custom Roles Overview

  • Custom Roles is located in Settings > Custom Roles

 

 

  • In this section of the article, you find what you can expect on the Custom Roles Table respectively; Name, Created Date, Last Modified, Actions, Drop-down, Search, Pagination, Bulk Actions, and more.

 

 

1. Name

  • This is the name you give to your added member. It’s recommended to use a Name that helps you to find a specific member easily.

2. Created Date

  • This is the date your custom role was created.

3. Last Modified

  • This shows the date and time the custom role was lasts updated.

4. Actions

  • These are the Actions you can perform on an individual Custom Role, currently: Edit and Delete.

5. Drop-Down menu

  • You can change the number of Fields that you want to appear per page by clicking the drop-down in the right upper corner. You can choose to show either 10, 25, 50 or 100 Custom Roles.

6. Search

  • In the right upper corner, you can also use the search field. Search terms are applied to all data in the table. This means you can search for an individual Custom Roles by typing the name, or only choose to show the date completed or date modified.

7. Next/Previous Page

  • In the bottom right corner, you can view the next page or previous page by clicking “next” or “previous”. This allows you to navigate through all your Custom Roles.


How to perform Bulk Actions?

  • You can perform Bulk Actions by clicking the checkboxes – of the Custom Roles you want to perform Bulk Actions on – in the first column. From there you perform Bulk Actions like Delete role(s), by clicking the Bulk Actions button in the right upper corner.

 

 

Create New

Creating a new Custom Role is easy:

  • Simply click on “Create New”.

 

 

  • This opens a modal where you fill-out some required fields namely; Role Name, Read-Only Permission and Edit Permission.

    • Role Name - Enter the name for this role/member.

    • Read-Only Permission - Specify a permission for this member.

    • Edit Permission - Edit existing permissions for this member.

 

 

  • After clicking “Save” your Team Role is visible in the table and ready to be used.
