How to Get Started with SMTP

To get started with SMTP, first, navigate to the Integrations page and click Create New, then select SMTP.

The connection form will ask you for your Hostname, Port, Username, and Password, which can be found in the settings section of the email service provider.

How to get your SMTP Details

In order to enable an integration between your email service provider and Clepher, you will need to obtain the Hostname (sometimes referred to as Server Name), Port, Username, and Password.

Each email service provider has its own documentation or settings page where you can see your SMTP details. For example, the SMTP details for Gmail can be found here.

Finish the connection process by specifying a meaningful name for your integration.

You integrated SMTP, now what?

We’ve got an elaborate explanation of how to use integrations inside Clepher. You can find this article filed in the Automation Section.

To give you a brief explanation, you do this while building out your Flows with the Composer. There’s a specific SMTP card, just for this purpose, that allows you to run any of the available actions such as sending an email to a subscriber.
