Email Address Card Settings Explained
The Settings tab in the Email Address Card consists of 4 parts; Card Title, Save email to Custom Field, Message, Preview, and Buttons/Quick Replies which are explained next.
1. Card Title
Enter a name for your Email Address Card. It is recommended to specify something that’s easily identifiable in the ‘message naming’ field as you might need to edit and/or use this message in another area of Clepher.
2. Save Email To Custom Field
This is where you set the right custom field for an email which is the email custom field. This is a default custom field or you can create an email custom field manually.
3. Message Field
Enter the message you want to send out or use the default message "What's your best email address?"
4. Preview
In entering your text in the message field where it says "What's your best email address?" the Preview automatically updates. This is where you can see how it will look for your Subscribers. A Text Message can hold both personalization tags and Emojis.
5. Buttons
All cards except the Button Action Cards can be set up with buttons and quick reply buttons depending on how you would like to deliver your message to a subscriber. To learn more about the Flow Composer Card Buttons, click here.
The Email Address Card has 2 default quick replies namely Subscriber's Email Address and Skip.
Subscriber's Email Address Quick Reply: This button will automatically capture and show the subscriber's current email address registered on Facebook.
Skip Quick Reply: This button gives the subscriber an option to skip providing his/her email address or if the subscriber wants to provide a different email address.
Important Note
Any changes made inside the card are temporarily auto-saved whether you click on the save button, the close button, or simply click outside the card on your screen. To save your progress, it is important to always click the "Save" button (in the top right corner) on the Flow Composer to apply any changes made.
